My name is Rafael Salas and I have been working with information technologies and Business Intelligence for more many years.
I have experience with a wide range of data warehousing and database technologies. I enjoy presenting at local and national technical conferences, co-authored SQL Server MVP Deep Dives Vol. 2 and have had the privileged of being recognized as Microsoft SQL Server Most Valuable Professional since 2007. My team was awarded The Data Warehouse Institute best practices award in 2009. I spend a lot of time closing communication gaps between technologists, project managers and the business, working on technical architectures, data integration, data modeling and BI.
I am also the co-founder of Charlotte BI Group and help organizing Charlotte SQL Saturdays.
